Participation in the Chinatown Chase supports the operations of the Hawaii Theatre Center, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that contributes to the revitalization of its neighborhood by attracting Oahu residents and visitors to a wide range of exciting entertainment offerings throughout the year.

Last year, 96,000-plus patrons enjoyed diverse programs from Hawaii and around the globe. The Theatre’s educational program uses the magic of live theatre to enrich young audiences in grades K-12. In the past year, more than 10,000 students, teachers and family members thrilled to our school matinee and public OHANA! Series performances.

Reduced rental fees and technical assistance by HTC staff enabled dozens of nonprofit organizations to present their own productions at our historic Theatre.
